Standard check in time is 3pm on the day of arrival and the property is to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. An additional fee will be charged if you do not check out by 10am. Early arrivals and late check outs are at the discretion of the management team and must be requested at the time of booking and can only be confirmed 1 day prior to arrival or departure. Approved early arrival or late checkout requests, will be entitled to the first hour at no charge, all additional hours up to a maximum of 3 hours in total will incur a $75per hour, (or any part there off) charge. We are happy to accommodate guests needs if possible and whilst every effort will be made to do so, the only way to absolutely ensure an early check-in or late check-out is to book an extra night.
Your credit card details will be held on the system as security bond. Your credit card will be automatically debited in the event of: damage to the property, equipment, breakages or if extra cleaning is required. Please note: we will only process monies on your credit card if there is reported damage to the property, or if the 'Terms and Conditions' are not adhered to. If you do not hold a credit card and cannot provide one as a bond, we will require a $2000 cash bond to be paid. This payment will be refunded within 14 days of departure, once we receive your departure inspection report and no charges are required. (Please inform our office via email if you wish to pay the required bond via this method).
Cool Change is designed to a very high standard, property is finished and furnished with costly materials and products. You become responsible for any and all damage and loss to the property and its contents from the date and time you check-in to the date and time you check-out. Any damaged items in the property will be charged the full advertised replacement cost and product brand.
The property is a residential premise and is strictly for residential use. The number of occupants allowed is as per approved on your booking email and as advertised. The use of the property for functions, parties or other like mass gatherings are STRICTLY PROHIBITED unless written consent has been emailed by management. Use of the property for such events or other than as a residential premise will result in the termination of the reservation for the property, removal of the Guest (s) and other occupants from the property and other costs or expenses (including an unauthorised function/extra cleaning fee of $500).
We do accept functions, parties and large group gatherings; however, these are all STRICTLY prohibited without written consent from Management prior to your arrival.
Functions/events and gatherings is only available to full house bookings. Any proposed event/function consisting of only 12 registered guests staying at the premises will not attract additional fees for venue hire. All visiting guests exceeding 12 registered guests will attract additional fees and security bonds.
We welcome all enquiries regarding your proposed function, event or presentation. A quote will be forwarded based on the nature and size of the proposed event.
7am to 10.00pm Sunday to Thursday - 7am to 11pm Friday & Saturday All visiting guests exceeding 12 staying guests must vacate the property grounds by set curfew times.
Approved visiting guests for the purpose of an event have access to the entire property and grounds and all facilities not listed off limits to visiting guests.
All spa baths, bedrooms, shower facilities, and towels are for the exclusive use by staying guests (I.e., guests being accommodated overnight at Cool Change) and are STRICTLY off limits to guests visiting the property for the purpose of attending a function/event.
At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked, unless prior approval is sought and given by management in writing.
Guests will be allocated rooms and beds in accordance with the number of guests booked including twin share. I.e.) Six guests will be allocated 3 bedrooms consisting of 1 super king room = 2 guests, 1 king room = 2 guests + 1 queen room = 2 guests totally 6 guests. Alternatively, six guests 1 king single bunk bed, 1 king single free-standing bed = 3 guests in 1 room + 1 king bed = 2 guests + 1 rollaway bed = 1 guest totalling 6 guests. Guests can choose beds configuration to suite their required needs up to the number of guests booked including twin share. The use of extra beds other than the number booked will attract an additional tariff.
Location hire for photoshoots and video shoots must be pre-approved in writing by management. No images including the property are to be used for marketing purposes unless pre-approved in writing by our marketing team.
Movement of furniture between additional spaces is strictly prohibited. No items or furniture from the first-floor level (I.e., tables, chairs, linen, towels, tableware, homewares, glassware or any other item), are to be taken down to the ground floor level. In case of unpredictable changes in weather cycles, all supplied outdoor cushions, bean bags or pool lounges & toys must be returned to a secure and undercover area after use. The pool umbrella must be wound down after use. NEVER LEAVE AN OPEN UMBRELLA UNATTENDED OR LEFT IN AN OPEN POSITION OVERNIGHT. Unsecured umbrellas have the potential to cause serious harm or even death if caught up in a wind storm. Any loss or damages, or excess cleaning caused by movement of items or furniture or unsecured items will be deducted from the bond.
All functions/events are on a DIY basis only; Cool Change does not provide any additional equipment for the purpose of an event or large group gathering. Any additional required party equipment is the responsibility of the hosting guest for their function. If you have a large booking where extra items are required (and a function is approved in writing by management) Cool Change can forward you contact information for function hire equipment.
Disturbance to neighbours including excessive noise, music and unruly behaviour is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received; a first warning will be given. If a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
We welcome children of all ages to our property. Children’s prices for accommodation are included in the standard tariff rates and refer to children using existing bedding. A porta-cot and high chair can be supplied for children under the age of 2 years. Cot and high chair hire fees - $100 per booking, guests are required to bring their own sheet and blanket.
Steps need to be taken into consideration before booking, please note there are no baby gates or stair barriers and supervision is the responsibility of parents & guardians. Please contact management if you need further information. No refund will be given if the accommodation is deemed unsuitable after check- in. Supervision of children around stairs, open windows, firepit, pool, driveways, bunk beds and all areas of the property and surrounds are the sole responsibility of parents/guardians, Cool Change accepts no responsibility.
All staying guests and visiting guests agree to carry out their actions and behaviours in accordance with what any reasonable person would deem as safe, responsible and appropriate in and around the pool areas (I.e. No glass or glassware in pool or in areas surrounding the pool, no jumping or diving into the pool from ladder or viewing platform, pool gates must be kept closed and locked at all times, no child will be left unsupervised in pool or in pool area beyond safety fence barriers. Supervision of children, (no matter the age), is the responsibility of the parent/ guardian.
The fire pit is to be operated by adults over the age of 18 only and are operated at your own risk. You will be held liable for any damage you cause including smoke or ember damage from incorrect use. Ensure all embers are contained within the fire pit bowl and that all embers have been put out entirely after use and before leaving the area unattended even for short periods. Supervision of children around the fire pit is required and is the responsibility of parents/guardians. The fire pits external casings can remain very hot even after fire has been extinguished and may cause serious burns if touched. It is strongly recommended that the fire pit not be operated when children are staying onsite.In-case of an emergency call 000 ambulance, police fire.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets. No pets are permitted on the property at any time. Additional cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached and deducted from your credit card.
Smoking on the property both indoors and within the grounds of Cool Change is strictly prohibited. If there is any evidence of smoking inside the property you will be charged an additional $1000 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours and remove chemical residue before future guests may use the space.
Premises must be left in the condition they were in upon guests’ arrival. Excess cleaning fees up to $500 may apply (e.g., rubbish not being removed, dishes not washed, dried and put away, barbecues not cleaned). Please report any existing damage to the property upon your arrival. Please immediately report any damage which occurs during your stay.
Any associated costs for replacement of lost or damaged keys that need to be cut or key barrels needing replacement will be charged at full rate to your card. Keys locked inside premises and require access; a security call out fee will apply.
Guests and their visitors’ actions, conduct and safety are the responsibility of the Guests. Cool Change does not condone unsafe, irresponsible or illegal actions/behaviour etc. on or off the premises, during a stay or at any other time. A condition of entering and/or staying at this property means that all guests understand and agree to indemnify the agent and owners against any responsibility or action(s) (legal or other), due to any action(s), incident(s), loss or injury(s) while within or outside of the premises (including, but not limited to, the grounds, facilities, structures, etc.) during a stay or at any other time. Your booking request will be confirmed once your payment has been receipted and a receipt emailed to you following your booking confirmation.
Full payment for accommodation is required at time of booking to secure your dates. If payment is not received by the due date, Cool Change reserves the right to cancel the booking. Rates quoted are in Australian dollars and are subject to change at any time. Cool Change is not liable for and is not required to honour any pricing displayed that is quoted in error. A cancellation under these circumstances does not incur any cancellation fee. Rates are inclusive of GST where applicable. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of price, which will be subject to a written advice on confirmation of the booking. Minimum length of stay restrictions apply to certain rates during special event periods. Preferred method of payment is Visa, MasterCard, Amex are accepted and a 1.5% surcharge applies for this card transaction.

Cancellations with MORE THAN 90 days’ notice prior to your arrival a 20% cancellation fee of the booking total will be incurred. - Cancellations BETWEEN 30 - 90 days’ notice prior to your arrival date 50% cancellation fee of the booking total will be incurred. - Cancellations WITHIN 30 days of your arrival date a 100% cancellation fee of the booking total will be incurred. No cancellations are accepted within 30 days of your arrival date. You will be charged the total of the reserved stay under all circumstances. Written notification must be provided for all cancellations. In the event Cool Change must cancel your accommodation for circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be made. However, we will not be held liable for any further costs incurred. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover cancellations, travel delays and all other unforeseen incidents and accidents.
